Florida Real Estate License Requirements

Have a valid Social Security number.

Be at least 18 years of age.

Have a high school diploma or equivalency.

Be able to answer questions regarding any criminal background if such exists.

Successfully completing the 63-hour Principles, Practices & Law (FREC 1) course and receiving a passing grade of 70%.

Students can only miss 8 hours of this course for any reason as per the state requirements (missed classes must be made up within 30 days of the scheduled course completion).

Submit a state application along with fingerprints

Pass the state licensing exam with a score of at least 75%.
